Job Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Mobile Developer with expertise in React Native and .NET 8 to build and scale our livestream shopping platform. You’ll work on real-time features, geolocation-based functionality, and native integrations to deliver a seamless user experience on iOS and Android.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React Native (bare workflow) mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Build and optimize .NET 8 APIs (C#) to support scalable backend services.
- Implement real-time chat and livestreaming features using Redis for distributed caching and RTMP for video streaming.
- Manage and query PostgreSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Create React Native bridges using native modules for Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
- Integrate geolocation-based features to enable proximity-based user and shop discovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Work in Android Studio and XCode for native module development and debugging.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React Native (bare workflow) for building cross-platform mobile apps.
- Expertise in .NET 8 and C# for developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Redis or distributed caching, ideally for real-time chat applications.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database design, querying, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with RTMP for livestreaming implementations.
- Proven ability to write React Native native modules for Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with geolocation APIs and location-based features (e.g., nearby user/shop discovery).
- Comfortable using Android Studio and XCode for native development and debugging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with WebSocket or other real-time communication protocols.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prior work on e-commerce or livestreaming platforms.
